How does this rum taste?
L'Univers de la Guildive" from the Bielle distillery is a limited-edition rum with just 230 bottles produced. Distilled in 2013 from sugar cane juice using a Creole Column, this rum was aged for seven years and offers a rich aroma of vanilla, woody notes, and pineapple. Tasting notes highlight its warm and barrel influence with hints of vanilla and mocha. A pretty nice Bielle and the price is also really good compared to what you get. The nose is fresh and fruity with spices as soon as you open the bottle. While resting the wood and nuts present themselves pretty well. The palate is lightly sweet with wood, fruits and spices and a hint of tobacco. The finish is medium long and warm with wood, dried fruit and spices.
Für mich hat er eine leichte bittere Fehlnote, die mich stört.
Mega spannende Nase nach tropischen Früchten und Gewürzen, toller Geschmack nach Passionsfrucht, Limette, Mokka und Karamell aber insgesamt ist eine extrem dominante Note nach Sägespänen die mir eher missfällt und dominiert, Hintenraus wirds leicht metallisch.
