“Bought this bottle for over a year ago from Catawiki. Rhum HSE is produced at the Le Simon distillery in Martinique. It’s distilled in a Creole column and then aged for more than 3 years in American oak barrels whereafter it’s aged for more than 8 months in casks previously used for Port wine. Overall one of the best port cask finished rums I’ve tasted.”

“Für Fans von Port-Finishes ein absoluter No-Brainer. HSE ist einer meiner Favoriten aus Martinique und das Finish ist sehr gut umgesetzt. Es verleiht dem Agricole viel Beerenfrucht und Rotweingeschmack. Im Mund definitiv süßer und weniger trocken als sonstige Agricoles, aber auch fruchtiger! Das Finish zähmt den Rum und macht ihn geschmeidiger. Gefällt mir sehr gut!”
