"This one was a little disappointing because usually Monymusk's are pretty good, but I think this is because of the lowered ABV. The nose has alcohol and varnish before resting, so I recommend resting it because then you get fruit, vanilla and a touch of wood. The palate is thin and sweet with fruits, spices and a little oak. Definitely what I had expected. The finish is medium long with tropical fruits, spices and a touch of oak. Would have loved a higher ABV, but on the other hand, this is a cheap rum :-)"
