"Aahhh! A dream of a neisson! Fresh macarons, the 12 years in the barrel perpetuated with a beautiful cedar note. Chapeau. Compared to the 2004 SC, much more dried fruit. Elegant and perfectly balanced. Then woodier in the mouth, crisp, warm. Mmhhh, the salivation is stimulated. It does not have the shortcoming of some Neisson to be a little too weak on the chest du. A great rum, what can I say! Will soon taste it against the 15ys Batch #3, my reference so far."

"Just spend an extended weekend in The Hague, Holland and I found a lot of nice places to test rum. This one is a lovely one from Neisson and i think even beginners may give it a chance. The nose is fruity with spices and chocolate trailed by light leather and wood. The palate ia kifgtly dry and very smooth with fruit, spices and wood as well as lighter notes of chocolate, leather and wet tobacco. The finish is long and lightly dry, which makes the flavours stick to your palate for very long. Dried fruit, wood and spices complete this finish."

"wieder ein richtig guter Neisson! Was mir bei diesem besenders auffällt, ist die erdige Wurzel-Note am Gaumen. Ein schöner Kontrast zur eher fruchtigen Nase. Besten Dank nach Wien für diesen leckeren Feierabend-Sipper!"
