“Fresh, citrus fruits, anchovies, honey on the nose. Very cool mix! An inviting creaminess on the palate and the citrus fruits harmonize with an interesting saltiness. Excellent release from Bank's!”

“Un Port Mourant continental qui s’illustre par un nez harmonieux et parfumé : les notes de miel et de massepain se marient bien aux herbes et aux notes boisées et épicées. Les fruits appuient le profil olfactif et donnent du cachet à l’ensemble. C’est structuré, doux et cohérent. En bouche, on retrouve un Port Mourant continental un peu plus rustre, sur les herbes aromatiques, le thé et le côté terreux, mais aussi pas mal d’épices, de notes salées, boisées et légèrement amères. Il y a un côté piquant et chaleureux qui peut dénoter un léger déséquilibre à la longue. L’alcool reste bien intégré malgré tout. La finale est un cran en dessous, relativement fine et plate, ne gardant que peu d’arômes en bouche à la fin, mais elle conserve l’ADN de Port Mourant (notes épicées, amères, herbacées, boisées mais assez douces au global). Un bon rhum à un prix raisonnable pour découvrir la Guyana et son histoire.”
