"I think it’s a very special and good everyday rum, the only one with somewhat similar tastes is the Six Saints also distilled at GDL. After an hurricane 2004 they have to relay on imported molasses. Nowadays they buy it from Panama. They use a twin-column Coffey still. About the name GROG, it’s an abbreviation for Georgius Rex Old Grenada in order to identify it as His Majesty’s George III of England rum."
