How does this rum taste?
Aluna Coconut Rum, crafted from molasses, embodies a vibrant coconut profile intertwined with subtle vanilla and fresh notes. Distilled at Multi Distilleries, it features a moderate ABV of 37.5%. Users appreciate its naturally dry, not overly sweet flavor, debunking common confectionery coconut rum stereotypes. Aromas reminiscent of coconut milk and husk, enhanced with a creamy texture, make it a delightful sipper or mixer. Ideal for cocktails, its purity and smooth taste lend an authentic edge, especially in tropical mixes like daiquiris and piña coladas. This rum's balance between dry coconut and mild sweetness combines to create a versatile spirit celebrated for its clean, natural expression. Its affordability further adds to its appeal among coconut rum enthusiasts.

To Multi Distilleries
for a coconut rum pleasantly "dry" and not so mega bappily sweet, plus a really pleasant mixture of roasted coconut chips, as well as coconut water and a hint of banana & vanilla. the whole thing is very creamy and oily. definitely try it in a daiquiri and mojito, where it really shows what it can do! and top PLV and finally a real coconut rum and not a liqueur, thanks to less than 20g sugar per liter.
Coconut rum is probably the only flavored, spiced or otherwise modified rum.The Aluna is a great representative of this category, through and through natural in smell and taste, not overly sweet, just very tasty.Without having tasted them in parallel I would say that the Koloa Coconut for me has just ahead, but it also costs ten euros more.
The rum has a pronounced and above all natural coconut aroma. Not as sweet as most coconut rums. The texture is beautifully creamy
The nose has lots of coconut but not synthetic, real husks and coconut milk. A touch of white chocolate. The palate reminds me of desiccated coconut confections. Very sweet, lots of vanilla complimenting the coconut. Not too much finish beyond a lingering coconut. Not as sweet and overbearing as most coconut rums. Would make a great cocktail and it's pleasant to drink neat.
