"Very underrated rum in my opinion. Nose is fantastic with a lot of fruits and sweetness. Mouth is less complex but still very good."
"27.03.2021 A nice Velier tasting thanks to my friend Cheng from Singapore. Notes Medium dark in colour. Nose Wood, medium intense, light roasted, fruity, cinnamon, faint smoke, pineapples, light vegetal. Palate Oily, wood, light roasted, pineapple, spice, vegetal, faint smoke, light berries, faint chocolate. Finish Medium long, wood, oily, fruits, berries, faint orange. Extra note. Needs to rest for a good while to even out the ABV and release all flavours."
"Tasted by chance, next to the Hampden overproof. Less fruit, (too much) alcohol, menthol, licorice, pine...Not worth its money for me personally."
"Odeur de mélasse et de sucre brun, nez assez timide. Rondeur en bouche, intégration de l’alcool très intéressante. Cacao beurré, épices fraîche, menthol, boisé léger, gourmand et petite mangue"
