It was distilled in 2003 from Molasses with a Double Wooden Pot Still and then aged for 17 years. The rum has an ABV of 50,2% and the mark is MPM. I love this style of Port Mourant. Lots of flavours, tropical fruits, anise, flowers. It's light but full at the same time. Very typical/complex. This was a very affordable bottle from Whiskybroker (£70). Absolute bang for your buck for a 17 year old.
