The "LPS" was produced in Jamaica at the Long Pond distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Rum Albrecht. It was distilled in 1993 from Molasses with a Pot Still and then aged for 17 years. The rum has an ABV of 53% and the mark is LPS. This is a limited release and there are only 342 bottles. 12 community members rated this rum with an average of 9.1/10. The rum smells like Glue, Banana and Ester, and on the palate there is Banana, Mango and Glue.

This is an exceptional rum from Jamaica. Pretty different from what you would expect from a Jamaican. This rum doesn't get the credit it's worth and I think Jamaica rum lovers should give it a go. Price to quality is extremely good.
