How does this rum taste?
Schwarzwald Rum Wood Stork, distilled by Bimmerle AG in Germany, is characterized by a strong spiced profile with notes of ginger, orange, and vanilla. The rum, with a 40% ABV, presents a unique blend of flavors that includes caramel and a sweet finish. Users have noted its distinctiveness within its price range, though opinions vary on its over-spiced profile. While some appreciate its bold characteristics for mixing, others find the spiced elements overpower the traditional rum essence, suggesting it caters to niche palates.

A mixed opinion of this rum. First of all, it is a spiced rum. Ginger immediately jumps out at you, but if you try to block it out, vanilla, honey and orange remain. In the mouth there is a ginger/chili spiciness, which is greatly softened by a distinct sweetness. Acidic, spicy finish that lingers for a long time. Very inexpensive and very special rum. As I am not a fan of ginger, this rum hardly convinces me.
