“Zwiegespaltene Meinung zu diesem Rum. Zunächst handelt es sich um einen gewürzten Rum. Ingwer springt einen direkt an, wenn man versucht diesen auszublenden, bleibt Vanille, Honig und Orange übrig. Im Mund dann eine Ingwer/Chili-Schärfe, die durch eine deutliche Süße stark abgemildert wird. Säuerlich, scharfer Abgang, der lange anhält. Sehr günstiger und sehr spezieller Rum. Da ich kein Ingwer-Fan bin, überzeigt mich dieser Rum kaum.”

“Spiced Rum Absolut nicht mein Fall… Der Rum kaum noch erkennbar, mehr ein Sammelsurium unterschiedlicher Geschmackskomponenten. Wenn man auf sowas steht könnte der aber ggf. gut sein. Man merkt, dass er nicht schlecht gemacht ist, der Geschmack der einzelnen kommt natürlich rüber. Ingwer, Orange, Chili, Honig, Vanille, Kakao und Kaffee, in der Reihenfolge. Nur in der Nase hat die Orange die überhand.”

“Very Spiced, eh? In der Nase springen Ingwer, Orange und Schokolade regelrecht an. Pro: der ist tatsächlich hierzulande gebrannt. Süße auf Level eines Likörs, Rum merkt man nicht mehr viel. Kaffee, Schokolade, Toffee, Ingwer, Orange...quasi alles drin was man reintun könnte. Sehr speziell, muss man drauf stehen. Aber auch definitiv kein Totalausfall. Nachtrag: Je mehr Sachen ich probiere, desto schlechter wird der. Im Spiced Lager unterer Durchschnitt, und unangenehm scharf.”
