“Bottle as a replacement for the recently tasted and me electrifying, but only expensive to purchase RN Savanna 2007 12y (RX680) bought, and I can blissfully say, this rum is in no way inferior to his one year less continental stored brother (with previously also 10 years of tropical storage). A really great, recommendable rum, very nice red-fruity and strong. Update 2023-04-01: And now the bottle is unfortunately empty ... Had really already grown fond of this strong rum. It just does everything right. Very characteristic is already the smell that the rum immediately exudes when pulling off the elegant glass cork. You immediately imagine yourself on a tropical island in the Indian Ocean. Newly I discovered during this tasting the presence of certain esters in the nose. But only quite subtly, underlining the attractive overall impression. It definitely remains at 89 points. Take care, my friend.
