The "Dated Distillation VNL" was produced in Guyana at the Enmore distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Cadenhead‘s. It was distilled in 1962 from Molasses with a Column Still and then aged for 36 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 62,9% and the mark is VNL. 11 community members rated this rum with an average of 9.3/10. "Gibt es eigentlich karamellisierte Zigarren?! Dieser Rum geht jedenfalls in eine Richtung, die diese Assoziation bei mir weckt - definitiv ein außergewöhnliches Profil. Was Cadenheads da früher aus Guyana in Flaschen abgefüllt hat ist in dieser Qualität und Geschmacksform schlichtweg herausragend. Der Alkohol ist absolut perfekt integriert, allerdings macht sich das Alter im recht trockenen Abgang deutlich erkennbar. Ein grossartiger Rum."
"Was für ein Erlebnis! Ein unfassbarer komplexer Rum. Die Nase ist schon ein Traum. Am Gaumen dann ganz viel verschiedene Noten von Schokolade, Tabak, getrockneten Pflaumen, Kaffee, Fassnoten usw. Das Ganze trotzdem wunderbar rund, Alkohol gut eingebunden. Bleibt ewig auf der Zunge. Ein Geschmackserlebnis!"
"Totaly integrated alcohol, even if it "stings" for a first taste. And then you feel wood-cask, caramel, little bit of leather. Full of taste, but not extra aromatic. -0,4 points are for the low explosion in mouth. Next -0,4 points are for low leather taste, that I would expect for Enmore. The rest is perfect"
