How does this rum taste?
Bacardi Black is a dark rum produced by the renowned Bacardi distillery. With an alcoholic content of 37.5% ABV, this rum offers a prominent sweet flavor profile, including notes of molasses, spice, and a hint of fruitiness. The aroma carries a more intense alcoholic and sharp scent with underlying sugary and fermented tones. Although not ideal for sipping due to its alcoholic sharpness and thin texture, it is often enjoyed as a mixer, particularly in cocktails. While it may not excel in complexity or quality compared to higher-end rums, it remains an affordable choice for those seeking a sweet base for mixed beverages.

I like this rum a little better than a white Bacardi or Havana 3y, but of course it's nothing to enjoy neat. The smell is quite solid with molasses, smoke and some fruit. The added sweetness makes it drinkable, but always with an unpleasant alcoholic sharpness and very thin.
Really repulsive in the smell. The taste is smooth and sweet but quite weak
The aroma and flavor are extremely sweet. The flavor is not horrible but it is too sweet to sip or really mix into anything.
Is it just me, or is there no appreciable difference in quality between all low-budget Bacardis?
