How does this rum taste?
RumX members love its elegant wood and long finish. This 18‑year Martinique agricole offers orange peel and floral sugarcane on the nose, with woody grapefruit, cinnamon and a cognac-like touch on the palate. Balanced and easy to enjoy, it’s well regarded for value. A limited 3,000-bottle release with strong community approval; some note a light nose and gentle power.

The goal? To offer you, the rum connoisseur, a place where you can choose with confidence—without paperwork, detours, or expert jargon.

It is not a typical agricole from Martinique. The grass is hidden and fine. Vanilla comes out of the barrel easily. very tuned blend. will also taste molasses rum lovers.
Un modèle d’équilibre!
Compared to the second release this one lack a bit. It is of course a younger model, but it can still keep up I think. Lightly woody with fruits from nose to finish. Lovely spices appear on the palate and finish nicely balanced with chocolate and caramel/toffee. There is a flowery hint i there and a medicinal hint i can't put my finger on. Price to quality is very good.
