It was distilled in 1998 from Molasses with a Pot Still and then aged for 18 years. The rum has an ABV of 62,2%. This is a limited release and there are only 260 bottles.

“This is a wonderful rum and I will definitely get back to this one. A backup bottle has already been ordered. The nose is peppery and has a lot of wood in a good way. There is also pear, burnt sugar and a bit of leather in there. The palate is creamy/oily and the rum draws nice curtains in the glass. Lots of fruit, barrel and spice. Later sugarcane and licorice comes to the front and a small hint of olive. The finish is long woody with spices and a hint of marzipan.”
