How does this rum taste?
Honest, easy English sipper
If you like smoother, drier rums like Doorly’s or entry Foursquare but want something softer in strength, this fits: fruity, mildly woody, and additive-free with a touch of whisky character.
Fans of high-ester funk or cask-strength power, and anyone looking for deep, long-aged complexity rather than a lighter, easygoing blend with some young wood notes.

Strong aroma like a Jamaican rum, heavy on the dunder, but quite refined with it. Spicy and dry in the mouth with a caramel undertone. Finish is woody and nutty.
Surprisingly fruity on the nose, like a large fruit cocktail. Vanilla and barrel notes on the palate. First toffee and pastry on the finish, then woody again.
A good rum, pleasant in the mouth, lightly woody and vanilla-flavoured, with no added sugar or colouring.
Very nice, full nose, full taste, soft hint of whiskey at the end
