"An older tasting from 2000 where I have the following notes. Beautiful colour, intense, complex and fruity with spices and cherries on top. Oily on the palate and very long finish. Bought a bottle at the tasting and it's long gone 😊"

"Great color Relatively subtle on the nose, like many high-class agricoles. Deep, dark walnut on the palate, almost walnut-like. Opens up more and more over time. Caramel and more syrupy consistency on the finish. Long finish of a great rum."

"Und schon wieder so ein toller alter Rum. Auch dieser Damoiseau 1980 ist wirklich sehr lecker. Doch im Direktvergleich leicht anders als die Abfüllung von Velier. Der Abgang ist einen tick kürzer. Deshalb gibt es einen Punkt weniger. Trotzdem top Rum."
