How does this rum taste?

04.09.2022 Meeting up for a nice after event party at my hotel. Good rum and food spread over a full day. Nose Wood, roasted, faint smoke, plum, light chocolate, anise, light caramel, faint earthy. Palate Oily, wood, roasted, spicy, fruits, anise, light chocolate, faint earthy. Finish Medium to long, wood, roasted, dried fruit, chocolate, light caramel.
Great rum. I like it better than the Distilia. The flavors seem denser and more present to me. More fruity components. Very very tasty.
