“The coffee taste dominates from nose via palate to the medium long finish. But the coffee is not as bitter as it’s in the Green Label, maybe because of the higher ABV at 55,5%. Besides this I recognized, just as in the Green Label, chocolate and some sweetness.”

“Die Kombination aus Kakao, Vanille und Kaffee funktioniert. Die ölige Konsistenz macht ihn geschmeidig für 55,5 Volumenprozent, aber dennoch spürt man auch hier die Schärfe des Basis-Rums. Der Abgang ist sehr weich und langanhaltend. Wer keinen Kaffee mag, sollte sich von dieser Flasche fernhalten. Alle anderen finden mit dem Ron Colon Coffee Infused High Proof Rum eine interessante Alternative zu Standard-Overproof-Rums, sei es für Drinks (etwa als Coffee Negroni Riff) oder für Floats.”
