"I had to rest this one because there was a bite on the nose after pouring the glass. After 15-20 minutes it gets far more accessible and the fruit flavours are easier to get. A lovely Long Pond with chocolate and wood in the front and nuts, vanilla and fruit taking the sidecar. Great balance and intense at the same time."
"Pungent, but also nice, if somewhat restrained, fruity nose. There are the expected esters, some solvent and then also The sweetness of honey with a hint of cherry. Pineapple is there as well. Dry spice of vanilla in the background as well.A pleasant sweetness comes through on the palate at first, which is immediately replaced by bitter wood notes. The esters come through. Then comes something almost floral, fruity towards pineapple, which is immediately caught up again by bitter. Remains also bitter in the finish with tea.I had but already better LP in the glass!"
