“And again a great Agricole! In the nose a lot of solvent, banana, almond and floral. In the mouth then really strong, creamy, dried fruit, coconut, tobacco and then a long finish.A young Neisson Foursquare blend.😉 A rum to enjoy.”

“A lovely selection from Asta Morris, which opens with an extremely sweet nose of pastry and sweet notes (toffee, brown sugar, caramel, milk chocolate, candied notes). Coconut, pineapple and banana add further sweetness, while wood, tobacco and spices are more discreet. A hint of solvents also makes an unexpected appearance. A round, gourmand profile. The palate is reminiscent of an ultra-smooth Foursquare: coconut, tobacco, caramel, chocolate, coffee, sweet spices, dried fruit, brioche and pastry notes on crème brûlée are truly reminiscent of Bajan's gourmet style. Everything is exquisitely smooth and round, giving the impression of tasting a sweet. The alcohol is well integrated. The finish is a hyper-patissier rum, with hints of caramel, crème brûlée, toffee, brioche and viennoiseries. The finish may lack intensity and depth, as the aromas remain succinct (chocolate, spicy wood and dried fruit), but the tone is not unpleasant. A very different profile from the Bielle 2009 from the same bottler, very smooth and easy-drinking, but which loses complexity to this one.”
