Creamy with nice spice and pastry notes. Rather restrained fruitiness and little funk. Great Long Pond - but I personally lack a bit of effervescence.
Haselnuss noten. Ansonsten sehr scharf. Dem Rum haben wir im Tasting nicht genug Zeit gegeben. Und hatten vorher auch schon zu viel.
An der Nase sehr schöne buttrige Ester, vergorene Frucht und dezente Süße. Am Gaumen Anfangs Honigsüße, dann etwas buttrige Ester, junges Holz und minimal Piment. Cremig und weich verteilt er sich am Gaumen. ABV in guter Trinkstärke. Der Abgang ist mittellang mit etwas mehr Würze und Tannine. Re-Tasting bei Dr. Django: Bleibe bei meiner Einschätzung, setze ihn aber von 9.0 auf 8.9 herab
Außergewöhnlicher Long Pond. Eine süße Fruchtigkeit trifft auf leichte Rauchigkeit. Cremig weich, mit Gebäck-Noten, die ich fast in die New Yarmouth-Ecke stecken würde. Für Long Pond fast schon ungewohnt rund, vielleicht fehlt ihm sogar etwas Spritzigkeit. Alles in allem aber eine schöne Abfüllung, finde ich!
