"Nase: sehr alkoholisch, ich gebe ihm noch ein paar Minuten... Nach ca. 30 Minuten ist die alkoholische Schärfe deutlich milder. Und jetzt habe ich auch wieder die Assoziation zu einer alten, geteerten, schweren Eisenbahnschwelle aus Eichenholz im August bei 35°C im Schatten. Daneben Karamellsüße und Trockenfrüchte. Gaumen: sehr kräftig, viel Fass und Röstaromen, dadurch recht bitter und leicht salzig aber ausgesprochen rund und ausgewogen. Der Nachklang wird sehr dominiert von den Röstaromen und vom Fass. Ich bin kein Caroniexperte aber hätte mir mehr Fruchtigkeit gewünscht. Der Rum erinnert mich wegen seiner bitteren Seite sehr an verschiedene Guyana KFM Abfüllungen."
