How does this rum taste?
- Well balanced and rounded
- Surprisingly intense for age
- Good price to quality ratio
The Neisson VSOP (88 Years Limited Edition) Rum, produced in Martinique, is crafted using sugar cane juice and a Creole Column still. Aged for four years and with a 44% ABV, this limited edition offers complex layers of sugarcane, citrus, and spices. It has a youthful profile with woody notes that surprise with depth despite the relatively short aging. Enthusiasts appreciate its balanced and floral nature, often noting its surprising intensity. However, some critiques focus on its perceived lack of body and relatively low alcohol content, suggesting potential room for growth. With only 1200 bottles available, it presents an exclusive tasting opportunity for rum aficionados.

To Neisson
"I'm really amazed at how much flavour this one has looking at the relative young age. Fresh and fruity with spices and wood. A very wall balanced and rounded rum. Would have loved to try it at a higher ABV. Price to quality is very good."
"Another great neisson. Quite young but already well rounded and very intense despite low abv. On the nose young wood mixes with floral notes and some cappuccino too. When drinking the wood and spices are in first places, the flowers come out in the end before the pretty long aftertaste spices driven."
"Nettement meilleur que la version LMDW. On retrouve les marqueurs Neisson en bouche avec ce côté épicé. "
"Vsop fort surprenant 4 ans mais fait penser au moins à 6 ans, très équilibré et complexe"
