How does this rum taste?
Most reviewers praise Cihuatán XAMAN XO for its accessible sweetness and rounded character, with vanilla, caramel, and pineapple standing out in both aroma and taste. Enjoyed neat or on the rocks, it's often described as smooth, mellow, and easy to sip—though some wish for more punch at the 40% ABV. Its tropical fruit and spice notes make it inviting for a wide range of rum drinkers and collectors alike.

To Licorera Cihuatán
Overall a smooth and pleasant Latino rum. It’s a 16yo rum containing rums aged for 15 years in American oak ex-Bourbon casks, and finished for one year in Mayan Ceiba casks. It’s fruity and smoky with aroma and flavor of vanilla and pistachio.
Throughout, one thinks too much of sugar here, which makes everything flat.
