„Au nez, c’est évident, c’est épicé ! On ne nous a pas menti sur la marchandise. Il y a de la cannelle et de la noix de muscade, mais à cela s’ajoute de la vanille et du boisé. Ainsi qu’une petite note métallique surprenante. En bouche, c’est bien évidemment dans la continuité du nez et de l’annonce du contenu, on retrouve les épices. Mais le boisé est bien présent malgré son jeune âge. Le fait que le fût ait été toasté n’y est pas anodin ainsi que des notes torréfiées ! Mais une note astringente persistante gêne à la dégustation. La longueur n’est pas réellement expressive.“
