How does this rum taste?
RumX members love Épices Créoles for its lively spice and cocktail versatility. Expect a fragrant nose of orange peel, vanilla and cinnamon, leading to a peppery, woody palate with dried‑fruit accents. Many recommend it for ti punch, daiquiri or Cuba Libre, though some enjoy it neat. It’s less grassy than typical agricoles, and a few note slight bitterness or a short finish. A popular choice with 131 community reviews.

I'm Oliver – together with Jakob, Robert, and Lukas, we started RumX in 2018 as a small passion project in Stuttgart, back then under the name Rum Tasting Notes.
What began as a digital tasting diary is now the world's most comprehensive platform for rum fans: over 24,000 bottlings, 250,000+ independent reviews, and an active community with 47,000 members. We combine the collective intelligence of our community with an integrated marketplace, allowing you to shop securely and manage your collection directly from the app.
The goal? To offer you, the rum connoisseur, a place where you can choose with confidence—without paperwork, detours, or expert jargon.
From the Days of Rum 2023 box. Start out with all the oranges. Very fruity. Vanilla. Cool and unexpected start. Let dig in- Taste: more oranges. Quite bitter too. Ginger. Pretty intense for its 46%. Did somebody dropped some fanta and tonic in the cask? Interesting vibe for an agricole. Outspoken. Not really balanced. Part of a series. Had the Fumee which is lighter but better balanced. Fun drop though.
Viel Holz und im Geschmack recht bitter. Nicht so unser Ding.
Still good agricole.
#4433 Whisky & Rom Festival 2023 28.10.2023 Notes. Very fruity with a spicy touch. Has both earthy and vegetal notes and then a light caramel touch.
