Very nice on the nose! Connoisseurs who spend hours smelling the rum will have fun here. A little disappointing on the palate, very dry and woody, sweet at the same time. The finish continues in the same way. Many thanks for the sample @WolfgangKlotz
#4142 Sitting here relaxing and getting mentally ready for the German Rum Fest. This bottle is a bit old and the content really dark. A fresh and well balanced rum with nice fruit and Agricole notes. The palate is dry and fresh and the longer it rests the better the flavours get. Draws very nice curtains in the glass and the empty glass is nice with some leather, chocolate and very light mint.
Phew old woody part. Also has a minty vanilla note. Difficult to drink as the rum is very concentrated.
