Another nice tasting finished, this time with rums from the Domenican Republic. This is a sweet rum with a lot of vanilla. A very light rum that's easy to drink. Nothing special about this rum but for the price tag a good option.

A good rum for beginners. Fruity, woody, roasted and not too spicy 😰. I like it as a every day sippin rum.

Here is a perfect example that longer storage does not always mean better quality. So I like the 18 year old much better than the 23 year old. Simply more coherent and harmonious

Quite restrained in the nose, but an atypical, own note. Also discreet in taste, the slight sweetness and cherry note in the finish is pleasantly noticeable.

Deutlich runder, komplexer und erinnerungswürdiger als der vernachlässigbare 12er. Daher auch bessere Preis-Leistung.

On The Rocks: On the nose an initial alcoholic hit with some charred oak with a mild caramel. Taste has an initial alcoholic and spice hit evolving into a marshmellow sweetness and then fades into a slight bitterness and mild oak. Finish is long with a mixture of marshmellow and mild spice and bitterness. There is a clear development of complexity that is enjoyable. Mixed Pepsi Zero: On the nose it has very mild sweetness and very mild oak. Taste is smooth but washed out with mild to moderate oak. Finish is very short and average. This rum is better suited for sipping on the rocks as you lose all complexity mixed.

premier nez aux odeurs de colle et de solvant. puis discrètement, cacao, coco, avec une note toastée, le tout très rond et moelleux. une bouche ronde et souple, plutôt boisée, ou l'alcool reste présent finale courte

A rum with many roasted aromas of cocoa, coffee and caramel. Quite smooth and round, but with a too-short finish that leaves you wanting more, and therefore a little disappointed.
