Price to quality lacks a bit on this release in my mind. It is still an OK rum, but just a bit pricy. The nose is fresh and fruity with nuts, coffee and vanilla and once rested light notes of wood and tar are present. The palate is intense, fruity and spicy with menthol, nuts, wood and chocolate and a wonderful mix of spices. The finish is medium to long, warm, fresh and fruity with spices and mint.
Ganz ordentlicher Port Mourant.
Typical PM 91 notes, but unfortunately too diluted.
