I'm Oliver – together with Jakob, Robert, and Lukas, we started RumX in 2018 as a small passion project in Stuttgart, back then under the name Rum Tasting Notes.
What began as a digital tasting diary is now the world's most comprehensive platform for rum fans: over 24,000 bottlings, 250,000+ independent reviews, and an active community with 47,000 members. We combine the collective intelligence of our community with an integrated marketplace, allowing you to shop securely and manage your collection directly from the app.
The goal? To offer you, the rum connoisseur, a place where you can choose with confidence—without paperwork, detours, or expert jargon.
Nichtssagend und Alkohol zu prägnant. Aber generell erschließt sich mir hier schon die Zielgruppe absolut nicht. Zucker rein oder nicht abfüllen imo.
On The Rocks: On the nose mild fresh grass with moderate spice and alcohol. Taste has a strong alcohol presence with some sweet fruit and floral notes with an delayed spice. Finish is medium with the spice and sweetness trailing off into a moderate bitterness. Mixed Pepsi Zero: Slight Sweetness but generally smells like Pepsi Zero. Taste is slightly bitter and not really overly pleasant. Finish is short and not memorable with the bitterness fading away. Do not drink this mixed, and it is not enjoyable this way.
