“Das typische Sake Aroma einiger anderer Nine Leaves ist hier aufgrund des Finish etwas weniger ausgeprägt. Besonders positiv ist hier das höhere Vol. % Gehalt gegenüber anderen Nine Leaves anzumerken da es dem Rum kräftigere Aromen und mehr Komplexität verleiht.”

“RumX-Adventskalender, 10.12., blind. Erster Eindruck richtiger Eindruck! Der ist unverkennbar! Nase: schön viele Aromen, röstig-rauchig, Würzigkeit von Muskatpulver, deutlich Rotwein/Armagnac, harzig-frisch, nussig in Richtung Haselnuss. Aber auch fruchtig-fast blumig. Alte Traube und ein Hauch Himbeere. Eindeutig getrocknete, geschwefelte Aprikose. Gaumen: Hui, intensiv und konzentriert, Tannine, nicht dumpf, sondern eher frisch. Irgendwas zitrusfruchtiges, das in Richtung Veilchen kippt. Und röstig-würzig ist er auch, Kardamom, Muskat und Pfeffer. Am Anfang scharf salzig, dann süßlicher werdend. Etwas Menthol und Jod ist auch dabei. Im Abgang würzig süß, Anis, Tee. Auch wenn ich meist eine Nachreifung nicht mag, diese hier verbessert den Nine Leaves ungemein. Bleibt aber speziell.”
