Deep, dark and toasty. Slightly smoky (Islay finish?). I like very much!
This is a really nice bottle and price to quality is pretty good. The nose is fruity and woody with spices. Try to nose the empty glass after a few hours. The palate is well balanced, sweet and woody with fruit, vanilla and chocolate. The finish long and warm with wood, chocolate and raisins.
Complex nose with raisin, orange, orange blossom and young wood. A lovely velvety mouthfeel with sweet raisin notes, candied orange peel and baking spices. Amazingly complex rum experience.
It has something of port wine. Very dark red berry fruit on the nose and in the mouth and finish. Alcohol very well integrated. For red wine lovers a must have.
