14.06.2009 A wonderful tasting with a few expats. This is thetasting where I met my long time friend in rum tasting, Tony. A guy from Singapore working and living in Shanghai. He also shared a passion for archery like me, which ended up in many hours spend together. Notes. Medium dark in colour. Wonderful nose from pouring. Woody with orange and cherry. Light smoke and licorice on the nose. The palate is oily with wood and spices. Orange and raisin and a light caramel note appear as well as tobacco. The finish is medium long and medicinal with fruits, coffee nd licorice.
Erstaunlich gut für die wenigen Prozente.
Das Sherry-Fass ist präsent, insgesamt sehr rund und vollmündig trotz der reduzierten Stärke. Lecker.
