The "PM" was produced in Guyana at the Port Mourant distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler High Spirits Collection. It was distilled in 1975 from Molasses with a Pot Still and then aged for 32 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 56,1% and the mark is PM. This is a limited release and there are only 60 bottles.

“In der Nase ein sehr fruchtiger und runder PM, der neben Dörrpflaume auch jede Menge Himbeeren, Waldbeeren und getrocknete Aprikosen hat. Die Süß-würzige Komponente hat etwas von Melassesirup, das mit kandierten Früchten vermischt wurde, Karamell oder Toffee finde ich hier quasi garnicht. Er wirkt zudem auch sehr floral und blumig. Eine sehr runde und harmonische Nase, welche etwas mehr von den Trockenfrüchten weggeht, wie gewohnt Im Mund wirkt er selbst für knapp 56% etwas dünn und hat eine sehr seifige/ parfümige Note, welche ich nicht ganz so angenehm finde. Auch sind Röstaromen deutlich spürbar, welche etwas in Richtung verkohlt gehen. Insgesamt nicht der beste Geschmack und das beste Mundgefühl muss ich sagen. Verglichen mit dem Full Proof High Spirits von 1974, performt der hier im Mund wirklich garnicht! Es gibt für mich besseres! Die Verdünnte Version mit 52% finde ich zb deutlich besser”
