“Last Sundays tasting was a great one and one of the best ones this year. This rum was the last one we tasted and it deserves first shot at rating. So great a rum that I decided to get a bottle! Lightly dry in a good way and a perfectly balanced and complex rum. I'd say this is a super refined XO!”

“The nose is floral and fruity, woody and crisp, honeyed, vanilla and with a hint of citrus and toast, magnificent, I would smell it for hours. On the palate it is initially still floral (fringipane), but it is enveloped soon after by a refined, complex and full-bodied woodiness, followed by the fruity hints (dates and bananas) all in a delicacy, roundness and intensity that is unique, the finish is very long, fruity and with a fine peppery, leathery touch. Hard to believe it has only 43 degrees, I can perceive almost 50. What a Rhum! It is a mixture of Depaz1976 and 3R1980, in the empty glass roasted hints.”
