"The most amazing about this rum is the carafe it comes in. I would have loved a higher ABV for it to have more soul. Lightly woody with some herbal notes mixed with coffee, chocolate and a lot of caramel. Too light in my mind but not bad."
"My first quality rum, bought for $70 in the Dominican Republic 20 years ago. A real delight, but I don't remember the details. THE rum that got me interested in rum. What would I think of it today? I don't know. At the time, I would have given it 98/100. I lowered the score by 10 points to take into account the evolution of my taste."
"Very smooth, some vanilla and leather hints, I had this vintage bottle a long time ago, which by the way is better than the current one (the bottle). I recorded my impressions at that time. I haven't tried the new expression but I think is overpriced and from what I remember from the rum I prefer to buy better alternatives with that money."
