“The most amazing about this rum is the carafe it comes in. I would have loved a higher ABV for it to have more soul. Lightly woody with some herbal notes mixed with coffee, chocolate and a lot of caramel. Too light in my mind but not bad.”

“Mon premier rhum de qualité, acheté 70 dollars en République Dominicaine il y a 20 ans. Un vrai délice, mais je ne me souviens pas des détails. LE rhum qui m’a fait m’intéresser au rhum. Qu’est-ce que j’en penserais aujourd’hui ? Je ne sais pas. A l’époque je lui aurait donné 98/100. J’ai baissé la note de 10 points pour prendre en compte l’évolution de mon goût.”

“Very smooth, some vanilla and leather hints, I had this vintage bottle a long time ago, which by the way is better than the current one (the bottle). I recorded my impressions at that time. I haven't tried the new expression but I think is overpriced and from what I remember from the rum I prefer to buy better alternatives with that money.”
