"Yummy, this is a nice Hampden and the price to quality is very good. The nose is fruity with esters and varnish from the start with caramel and light grass trailing. The palate is well balanced, warm and peppery with wood, fruits, ester and light grass. The finish is very long and warm/peppery with wood and pineapple. The finish is lightly dry, something I really like in this release."

"Very intense and tastefull. The nosing was so much more complex and full of interesting notes than the palate. Alcohol content was to strong for my tastes and I diluted. But still the burning and wood dominated, leaving very little room for other flavours, or maybe they were not there to begin with?"
