“A very nice nose with light fruitiness, ester is barely perceptible! On the palate, initially a tart sweetness, which then quickly gives way to the spicy woody side. It spreads creamy and smooth, the alcohol is acceptably integrated. The finish is also spicy with some long tongued black tea flavor. Given the price, a good low-ester rum from Hampden”
