Un très beau nez, cerises au kirsch, boisé, vanillé mais toujours dans l’équilibre. Une attaque en bouche assez douce, mais la bouteille arrive à la fin. Toujours des fruits très équilibrés avec le reste. Une finale moyennent longue mais avec beaucoup d’élégance. Regoûté et encore meilleur que dans mon souvenir. Un tout petit peu en dessous des versions à 54%, mais je chipote. Un rhum magnifique qui fait rêver.
03.03.2018 A wonderful day with my friend from Singapore at the whisky.dk event in my hometown. Notes: Very good bottling. Fruity and fresh with very good balance. Palate is oily and the finish is long with light minty notes. Extra note. I have tried several different bottlings of different ages and I also have two bottles in my collection. In general these releases are really good.
Toller Rum! Wie ausbalanciert er ist für die Jahre, die er auf dem Buckel hat. Sehr geil.
Tolle Nase. Massig Lösungsmittel, sticht auch ordentlich, sehr rauchig und rote Früchte. Die lange Zeit im Fass ist kaum merkbar. frisch und grasig. Tolles Mundgefühl und gute Trinkstärke. Arrak. Plastik, Karamell und pfeffrige Würze im Abgang. Sehr guter Rum, mir gefällt besonders die Kombination aus stechenden Lösungsmitteln und roten Früchten. Geschmacksprofil einzigartig.
