Hier ist leider nicht viel vom Rum übrig. Das Ruby Port Fass überlagert alles. Macht nicht sonderlich viel Spaß. Aber man probiert eben alle El Dorados durch … in der Hoffnung, dass es evtl. doch noch mal eine Neuauflage der Rare Collection gibt, die ja fast durch die Bank ausgezeichnet war. Das hier hat nichts damit zu tun.
Im Mund für meinen Geschmack doch sehr süss. Hätte es für mich nicht gebraucht. Ansonsten dicht, intensiv und für mich stimmig. Guter Holzeinfluss. Schöner warmer und langer Abgang. Gefälliger Rum. Das Finish ist hier sehr ausgeprägt.
Im Test heute die Last Cask Serie von El Dorado RX6784 RX13225 RX13396 RX5449 RX3456 und RX6785. Zusammen gefasst alles recht solide Abfüllungen die aber leider nicht unbedingt die Erwartungen erfüllt haben. Die Preisgestaltung meines Erachtens ein wenig zu hoch.
