"This is a solera method rum set at 21 years and a very good one. It needs to rest for at least 15 minutes before you give it a go or you'll only get the alcohol. You may also want to add a few drops of water after which the flavours are really set free. The nose is alcoholic after poring but after a while it settles and you get a fruity and vanilla mix with smoke on top. This palate is nice and complex with chocolate/cooa followed by fruit, caramel and butterscotch. Oak and some smoke ends the experience. The finish is extremely long and warm with a fruity and smoky end. "
"This used to be one of my favorites. Still a million worth of vanilla but way to sweet making it too short and dampened down. Would have loved to taste it straight from the original cask without additives. —- A very long time sine last time. For some strange reason I like it better now despite its sweetness."
"Förbaskat bra och man kan sitta och gotta på den här länge. Söt, tropisk frukt."
