How does this rum taste?
Rhum Influences No. 1, crafted by Famille Ricci, is a distinctive blend of molasses rums distilled with a John Dore Pot Still and aged for 7 years. This 46% ABV rum showcases a complex aroma with notes of banana, tropical fruits, and vanilla, complemented by woody and cigar undertones. The palate offers flavors of vanilla, peaches, and wood, with hints of leather and toasted notes. While some reviewers appreciate its intriguing nose and robust character, others note a shorter finish and a lighter profile. Known for its value, this rum blends Jamaican flair with minimalistic Barbadian influences, making it suitable for both daily enjoyment and initiation into the world of rums.

#4463 11.11.2023 Enjoying a few samples before I have to give a tasting close to my home. Advantage is I can walk there and back really fast so I can participate as well. This is a pretty good blend especially wheb looking at the price tag. I would have loved a higher ABV though. Medium fruity with nice spices and roasted wood. Light profile because of the ABV. Short to medium finish with some dried fruit.
Smells smoky (cigar), burning aftertaste
As always, the Wolf Pack have done their homework and come up with a super-affordable rum that's full of flavor, with lots of fruit, exotic and dry, and a hint of tobacco and coffee that add complexity and deliciousness, so it's great value for money. The bottle didn't survive!
Même soucis que l'on rencontre sur l'ensemble de la gamme Ricci : la multiplication des fûts utilisés pour les affinages ne permet pas de faire ressortir les caractéristiques de chacun
