Prémices de dégustation sur 1cl. Au nez, beau boisé sur des épices vives, entre poivres et piments. Quelques agrumes plutôt confits. Côté beurré légèrement caramélisé, sur l'ananas et la noix de coco grillé. Le grand Galion apporte une légère astringence, puis bocal à olives (vertes, puis plus tard noires), saumure, enchoïades, presque jamaïcaine cette partie du nez. De la torréfaction aussi, sur la fumée du café et le cacao en poudre. En bouche, les caractéristiques du nez reviennent les unes après les autres. J'ai un complexe très gourmand coco-vanille-caramel-beurré qui se balade. Verre vide bien plus marqué sur le boisé brûlé et caramélisé. Du chocolat noir, cacao, un peu de feuille de tabac sèche. Belle vivacité tant au nez qu'en bouche. Prochaine dégustation à suivre.
Nez un peu trop porté sur l'alcool mais il s'agit vraiment d'un rhum excellent qui parvient à allier avec brio la gourmandise et le caractère d'un brut de fut. J'ai découvert avec ce rhum la note pimentée dans le nez et la fin de bouche. Très très agréable et il est difficile de ne pas se resservir.
