How does this rum taste?
RumX members love this Clarendon’s vibrant fruit—banana, mango and lychee—lifted by a floral Cognac Borderies finish. The cask-strength palate is lively and peppery, balancing tropical sweetness with wood, tobacco and a long coconut-tinged finish. Several reviewers suggest letting it breathe to tame the oak and mild tannic bitterness. With 45 community reviews and rising confidence, it’s a characterful Jamaican many reach for neat.

Nose Pwaaaa that smells really good! Mango, passion fruit, lychee and some woody notes with dried fruit and blond tobacco. This nose is hyper-perfumed, in jamaique/cognac fruity mode. I really like it, it's superb. Mouth Just as good, a real concentrate of fruit with pineapple, banana and mango, all in explosive mode. The oak is present but delicate, with dried fruit again, chocolate and a few spices. There's plenty of pep, greed, fruit, a light woodiness and incredible balance...
Un bonbon !! Excellent..
meget woody
Well, I think it's pretty good. The bitterness described by some doesn't bother me at all, and the cognac/tobacco notes please me rather well. I really think this little jam is top-notch 🤩
