Elixir Distillers of London Black Tot Rum
Most enjoy its balance of caramel, chocolate and wood and praise the value. Critics find it a bit flat, short and sometimes alcoholic. Consensus: reliable entry into unsweetened navy blends.
Those building their palate who want an unsweetened, reasonably complex navy-style blend with chocolate, coffee, caramel and wood that works both neat and in classic cocktails at a fair price.

How does this rum taste?
Accessible navy-style chocolate–caramel sipper
If you’re moving from sweet spiced or Spanish-style rums toward drier navy blends, this lets you taste Guyana/Jamaica character without overwhelming funk or high ABV, and it stays wallet-friendly.
Seasoned enthusiasts seeking high-ester funk or deep complexity, and drinkers who dislike roasted, slightly bitter chocolate/coffee notes or notice sharp alcohol in lighter rums.
Very nice blend of the three different rum styles. In the nose dominates perhaps a little more the fruity ester of Jamaica so it is in the taste already spicy and still fruity sweet. Very positive to judge is that the blend is not re-sweetened. Does not need it also absolutely. Great flavor spectacle at a very attractive price.

All my Tastings and Scores are purely based on “Rums under £50”. I rarely look at Rums over £50 for my YouTube.
