Trelawny White DOK

Frankly, I simply expected that my taste buds would be “torched”, when I had my first taste of this rum.. But was I ever in for a surprise… Yes, the alcohol is heavy, but there is a fantastic taste - fruity (fire example pineapple) and actually very delicious.

This is the full power....but unfortunately too much of it... in contrast to the HGML this rum can hardly be tamed...(and I'm used to a lot)...even after a long time in the glass... first and foremost you only taste alcohol almost in pure culture. too bad

It smells better than it tastes

At the desk the guy asked me if I was absolutely certain that I wanted this one clean and I said yes. The third tile I came to the desk he admitted that OK, you like it 😊 This is like a nuclear ester bomb in your mouth and it activates the little tearducts in the corner of your eyes. The finish is as long as a nuclear winter and even after 1 hour it was still on my palate. Wow, I would like to try this one in a dark and stormy one day 😍

Direkt nach RX16511 getrunken, ich finde diesen hier mindestens genau so intensiv. Es fühlt sich so an, als würde der Rum im Mund verdunsten, wenn man ihn zu lange da lässt 😅. Der gereifte TECC von Velier ist viel einfacher zu trinken als diese beiden. Klar, hat auch einiges weniger an % und durfte altern. Dies nur als Referenz, für die, die den kennen. Wüsste nicht mit welchem ich sonst vergleichen soll. Ich glaube wenn jemand Ungeübtes, Rums dieser Art aus Versehen trinkt, möchte er sich während dem Abgang die Zunge raus reissen 🙈. Also ich mag solche Rums.
