How does this rum taste?
- Rich, complex aromas and flavors
- Perfect balance of sweetness
- Long, satisfying finish
The 1992 Gardel Distillery rum, bottled by Bristol Classic Rum, offers a distinctive Guadeloupean profile with a 46% ABV. Distilled from sugar cane juice using a column still and aged for 10 years, it's renowned for its vegetal and woody aromas complemented by raspberry and almond notes. Tasting reveals a complex interplay of vegetal, woody, medicinal, pastries, and menthol flavors, creating a round and well-balanced experience. While the rum's intensity could be higher for some, it remains a delightful choice for those seeking a unique agricole style.

To Gardel
"06.09.2005 had a meeting with friends and we brought bottles to try out. The Jin Mao Tower in Shanghai is a beautiful building bustling with life all day long. A must see and visit when in Shanghai. Notes. Medium dark colour. Nose: fresh, wood, berries, raisin, nutts. Palate: round, wood, raisin, iodine, mint, dry, anise. Finish: medium to long, wood, roasted, anise, coffee, dried fruit."
Tolles Profil! Nur etwas intensiver könnte es noch sein."
