Forgive me for the bad glasses, I'm not at home ;) On the nose, it reminds me of Calvados. All in all, it's very fruity and not very spicy, and there's no wood on the nose. The taste is mild, sweet and as fruity as the smell suggests. The finish is finally something other than sweet and fruity, namely tobacco? Herbs? So as a sipper or for beginners a nice round representative. Price is ok but I would invest it differently ;)
The nose has lots of vanilla and earthy floral notes. Tobacco, cocoa and oak are also there. The palate has a good amount of wood. Other prominent notes include a good sprinkling of nutmeg and sweet brioche. Something a little ashy in the background. The finish is quite long. The tobacco from the nose come back and is joined by cracked black pepper and hints of citrus. It's not a bad rum but for me it's a bit middle of the road.
