“Corman Collins is pretty good at picking their casks and this one is no exception. An intense profile with fruits and roasted wood. I'd say the roasting notes are close to burnt and it leaves a really nice smoky note in the empty glass. Made a note that the empty glass also had marzipan and caramel.”

“The aroma is very pleasant and comfortable. but…oddly, it has a significantly heavier ester(sense) and more open scent than either the little-higher-proof tropical HV HGML, the little-higher RA #211, #6, or the relatively lower kill devil. Complicated enough, I like it. round and not spicy, which I think is helped by the low alcohol level. The finish is long, as predicted by the smell and tasting. perfect abv for Hampden.”
